The Essence Of Our Faith
We believe salvation is for all people, and based solely the Word of God. The Bible says we must build a relationship with God using His terms, not ours.
In a nutshell, we are to love God and hate sin. We must confess our sins to God and ask for His forgiveness, and believe that Jesus Christ was God’s only Son who was to be born of a virgin.
We also believe Jesus lived His life upon this earth without sin, and gave his life upon a cross to die for our sins.
We also believe Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day and later ascended into heaven to be seated at God’s right hand making intercession for us.
What We Believe About The Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent to us from Jesus to empower us to be His witnesses.
We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives gifts as recorded in 1 Corinthians 12 to the believers for the edification and equipping of the saints.
We concur that the gifts are to be used in a loving manner and with a spirit of humility. These gifts should never bring attention to us, but should always give glory and honor to God.
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers us to try to live a pure and holy life, and brings conviction to our hearts when we sin to bring us back to God.
What We Believe About Baptism
We believe that water baptism is done by total immersion and is an act of obedience as set forth by Jesus Christ. We feel it should be done as quickly as possible following salvation.
